Period Panteez was able to donate all of the necessary school supplies for all 15 of the precious children at our local shelter, from paper to pens, rulers to highlighters, and everything in between. By going through the ads and watching the in-store sale items over the span of a month's time, we were able to get items for a fraction of the retail price. We were picking up folders for 1¢, rulers for 10¢, and spiral bound notebooks for 17¢. We called our local shelter in advance and asked how many children they had as guests, which helped us to plan accordingly. Period Panteez would like to encourage other businesses and individuals to do the same. When you're school shopping with your kids or just walking by the school supplies while you're at the store, if you are able, please pick up a couple of items for a child in need. Whether it be a ruler, a couple notebooks, or a pack of ballpoint pens, it's our responsibility to ensure that every child is equipped with what they need to live their best life possible, period.
